At one time OSS provided adaptable, expert, enduring support for Open Systems, such as Solaris, Linux, HPUX and IRIX, throughout Rutgers University.
Currently OSS is a group undergrad system programmers employed by OIT NB/P Central Systems & Services. They are dutifully engaged in supporting those who run the core email, web & DR systems of Rutgers University. These capable young men & women work under the direction of Jack Chen, system programmer and administrator for eden.rutgers.edu.
